A vibrant & whimsical brand identity for an off-beat designer.
London-based illustrator, designer & writer, Daisy de Villeneuve is globally recognised for her intimate and vibrant felt tip portraits which have adorned some of the world's biggest brands (think Clinique, Topshop, Moët & Chandon, V&A and Vogue). With a background in Fashion and Fine Art (Daisy studied at Parsons School of Design in both New York and Paris), she decided to launch a product range under her own label.
Daisy commissioned Good by Design to create a whimsical storied brand which would position her as a decorative product designer with a focus on personal relationships and emotional connections told in an imaginative and vibrant way.
The logo has its roots in the traditional folk art motif - 'heart on hand' - a symbol representing friendship, love and truth - all of which are key narratives in Daisy's work.
The brand offers everyday objects that are enriched with truth, joy & love provoking conversation, evoking memories and forging connections.
